Rehearsals
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings during term time, meeting at Trinity Church Hall, George Street, Burton upon Trent. Rehearsals start at 7:30, and go on until 9:30, with a short tea break and a modesly flavoursome biscuit. Sometimes, we even go to the pub afterwards.
The entry level is approximately grade 5 of the Associated Board of Music. If in any doubt about your standard, please contact us using the link above and discuss. Some of the best players in the band have no formal qualifications, yet play to a professional level.
Do you have your own instrument? If not the Band has a store and can probably accommodate your needs, especially percussion players. There's a small subscription to be in the band, which helps towards the costs of hiring the hall and purchasing new music. Click to see a map.
