Current Vacancies


Whilst we're always glad to meet new players on any instrument, here's the current list of players we're really keen to recruit. If you play, or used to play, then why not have a go again?

Trombone. Ideally a Tenor Trombone. We're looking for that elusive third member of the trombone section to fill out those harmonies at the start of Rhapsody in Blue.

Sound Engineer. Anyone got some experience, or keen to learn miking up the band. Especially for outdoor concerts to boost the sound. A generous benefactor spotted that when we perform outdoors, we have to pay outsiders to provide amplification. As many of our concerts are for charitable causes, this expense reduces the amount we can raise. We're nearly there with the kit, just need someone to twiddle the knobs now.
